असङ्ग का दर्शन समन्वयात्मक है। इसमें सौत्रांत्रिकों का क्षनिकवाद , सर्वास्तिवादियों का पुद्गल-नैरात्म्य,और नागार्जुन के शून्यवाद का प्रतिपादन है। किन्तु असङ्ग इस समन्वय को पारमार्थिक विज्ञानवाद की परिधि में सम्पादित करना चाहते हैं।
