Indian Philosophy
Bhasa Pariccheda
The Bhasa-Pariccheda with its commentary, the Siddhanta-muktavali, by the same author, Visvanatha Nyaya-Pancanana Bhattacarya, is a manual on the Nyaya-Vaisesika Philosophy which is extensively read throughout India by all who want to get a fair knowledge of the subject within a short compass. Through inteded for beginners, it is a pretty difficult book, the chief reason for which is its extreme terseness. In 1850 Dr. E. Roer published an English edition of the Bhasa-pariccheda, with extracts from the Muktavali, which is long out of print. An English rendering of the work with the Muktavali was therefore overdue.

Outlines Of Indian Philosophy
This work is based upon the lectures which I delivered for many years at the Mysore University and is published with the intention that it may serve as a text-book for use in colleges where Indian philosophy is taught. Though primarily intended for students, it is hoped that the books may also be of use to others who are intersted in the Indian solution of familiar philosophical problems. Its foremost aim has been to give a connected and, so far as possible within the limits of a single volume, a compreshensive account of the subject; but interpretation and criticism, it will be seen, are not excluded.
Science And Spirituality
A dialogue between Science and spirituality is a necessity in our times where both, differences and mutual enrichment of the two great fields of human approach to reality, are taking place. This volume adresses this need from the perspective of different areas of science and spiritual tradition. The starting point is the intention of the founder of the IIAS, Dr S. Radhakrishnan, who saw that '' both the practice of science and experience of spirituality are intimately related to being human ''.
Contemporary Indian Philosophy
The present study seeks to highlight these aspects of Contemporary Indian Philosophy. It is an attempt to re-think, in an academic manner, the thoughts of the contemporary thinkers, Swami Vivekananda, Mahatma Gandhi, Rabindranath Tagore, Sri Aurobindo, Krishna Chandra Bhattacharya, S. Radhakrishnan, and Mohammad Iqbal. Different aspects of their thoughts have been systematised, categorised and placed under suitable philosophical heads in this work.
Theory of Karma
The ancient Vedantic knowledge reinforced by Brahmasutra and Bhagavadgita establish that it is, purely and solidly, the result (karmaphala) of earlier actions (karmas) of each one of the sentient entities. This is a strong and formidable solution to the unanswered questions like why does, one child being blessed to be born in either rich or healthy and sattvic family and another child being consigned to be born in a family living in poor conditions or unhealthy tamasic environment.
